This summer my friend Joe McGowan had an idea: what if we got a bunch of wooden boards and skateboarded on them in various places around Wyoming? Immediately I loved the idea. Naturally, we included Willy at once and soon began to develop the project, brainstorming all sorts of possibilities. There were plans to include so much more in this project and because Joe and I were caught up in so many other creative endeavours and Willy was nursing a broken ankle, we decided to wait until next summer to finalize the video. After hearing about Joe's passing away, I knew that I needed to complete the project. So I began reviewing the files and that's when I realized we had all the footage we needed . Sure we could have found more locations, worked for that perfect shot, and refined our system but I couldn't have had any more fun than I did these two evenings. Thank you so much for these memories, Joe. -Henry
